Mostaccioli and Pork Meatballs

1 to 2 lbs. mild sausage (may substitute 1/2 hot and 1/2 sweet sausage)

1 tbsp. parsley

1 tbsp. oregano

1/8 tsp. basil

6 large cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp. salt

3 (29 oz.) cans tomato puree

3 (6 oz. can) tomato paste

1 onion, whole

Meatballs:

1.5 to 3 lb. ground pork

2 eggs, beaten

1 (1.5 oz.) package meat loaf seasoning mix

1 clove garlic, finely chopped

1 tbsp. parsley

Salt and pepper, to taste

4 slices bread

1/2 cup milk

3/4 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
